Guided round walk with sheep farmer Günther Pernthaler

Experience the well-tended cultural landscape of Villnöss valley with its traditional farms, the characteristic Villnösser Brillenschaf sheep and the beef breed “Graues Geislerrind”. Together with sheep breeder Günther Pernthaler, you’ll set out on a guided circular hike from St. Peter via St. Jakob to the Moarhof and Maier’s Paradise and back to St. Peter. Along the way, you’ll visit a sheep farm, explore an old grain mill and a traditional smokehouse. You’ll learn fascinating facts about the beef breed “Graues Geislerrind” and the principles of sustainable farming. To round off the day, enjoy a tasting of farm-made products – an authentic experience for nature lovers and gourmets alike.
