Slow Food Travel - Alpine Spring Festival

On 7th June 2026, starting at 11 am, the Slow Food Travel association invites you to a charming Alpine Spring Festival on the church square in St. Peter in Villnöss valley. Look forward to a lovingly curated farmers’ market featuring high-quality regional products in the spirit of Slow Food Travel. Culinary highlights include specialties from traditional mountain farm cuisine, offering an authentic taste of the region. A lively musical atmosphere will set the tone, while passionate card players can gather in the parish hall for a friendly South Tyrolean card game of “Watten” – perfect for enjoying time together in a relaxed setting.

There’s plenty for curious visitors of all ages: get creative while carving traditional whistles of tree bark (Maienpfeifen) and discover a whole new perspective of St. Peter with guided church tower tours.
