Skymarathon Rosengarten Schlern
Skymarathon Rosengarten Schlern – long, hard, fantastic
The Skymarathon Rosengarten Schlern leads through one of the most spectacular landscapes of the UNESCO Dolomites. Starting in St. Zyprian, the course follows narrow paths, steep scree fields, panoramic ridges and high-alpine sections such as the Grasleiten Pass at 2,630 meters. All three distances require endurance, sure-footedness and the determination to push past personal limits.
The combination of long, tough climbs, technical terrain and overwhelming scenery makes this race an unforgettable experience. Those who take on the challenge encounter the Dolomites in their most intense form – raw, demanding and absolutely fantastic.
The Courses:
• 46 km | approx. 3,000 m elevation gain
The full circuit over the Rosengarten and Sciliar: a long, highly technical high-mountain route with steep climbs, demanding sections and breathtaking alpine crossings.
• 36 km | approx. 2,000 m elevation gain
A more compact but still challenging loop around the Rosengarten. Varied trails, striking rock formations and pure Dolomite atmosphere.
• 16 km | approx. 800 m elevation gain (new from 2026)
The short route leading through the wild Tschamin Valley. Fast, steep and intense – ideal for runners looking for a shorter yet demanding challenge.
