Discover the various phases of development, from typical houses and buildings by architects such as Abram & Schnabl to the current times. Registration required.

First mentioned in documents in the late 13th century as ‘ze Ursinie’ and in 1350 as ‘von der Sini’, Sinigo/Sinich only grew to its current size in the course of the fascist settlement policy of the 1920s. The former marshland had to be drained by the ONC, the Opera Nazionale Combattenti, before it could build the Montecatini fertiliser factory and new farmhouses on stilts.
