Sequences
"Sequences" are a succession of themes, formally or substantially related. Of aspects that follow one another, that interact or complement each other.
In the exhibition thus titled, the works on display come to assume exactly this role, with space and its interpretation serving as the connecting link.
Space and the relationship with it properly constitute the object of study and sculptural-architectural intervention. In the exhibition context of "Sequences," sculptural and architectural works, that is, three-dimensional, are accompanied by pictorial or graphic, two-dimensional works. Plastic objects are contrasted with oil paintings, drawings and collages. The different artistic genres are strengthened, supplemented and complemented precisely by virtue of this equalizing juxtaposition. This vision of space, already complex in itself, is further expanded acoustically. Resuming and continuing the previous exhibitions, a broader, and at the same time totally different, perspective of analysis of space and form thus ensues. With this in mind, the new exhibition thus continues the sequence of exhibition events being offered by the Brixen Civic Gallery this year.
