SCHLERN MUSIC MATINÈE

In 2024, Prösels Castle will again host the festive final concert of chamber music festival Schlern Music, from this year on under the artistic direction of Chiara Tonelli and Philipp von Steinaecker:
a new concept that builds a vivid bridge between Völs am Schlern and the international music  world. In addition to Mendelssohn‘s String Octet and Chausson‘s Chanson Perpétuelle for soprano
and string quartet with Camilla Tilling as soloist, the program at Prösels will also feature Mozart‘s Horn Quintet; the soloist is Alessio Dainese from Bolzano, who is first horn player of Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.

After the concert, there is the opportunity to have a light lunch in the courtyard, accompanied by wines from the Völs winemakers.
