Safety in the mountains: talk with the Alpine rescue team – ATIRA

ATIRA: this is an initiative that emphasises action and responsibility. The Ladin name refers to the urgent need for everyone to play their part in preserving the territory and building a more mindful and responsible future. Through activities, meetings, and opportunities for in-depth discussion, ATIRA promotes awareness and encourages the community to play an active role in protecting the Dolomites. The focus of this summer's meetings will be nature parks, mycology, and mountain rescue.





Safety in the mountains



An evening dedicated to mountain safety together with representatives of the Alpine Rescue Service. Through stories, data, and firsthand accounts, the importance of their volunteer work will be highlighted. A valuable opportunity to understand the risks of the alpine environment and receive practical advice on how to plan a hike properly, choose the right equipment, and avoid unpleasant situations.
