REMAKE IN SWING
Remake in Swing is the concert proposed to citizens on the occasion of the Day Against Violence Against Women. The concert, featuring The Swingers Orchestra, was conceived by Ferrara musician Delio Barone - a swing guitarist of great stature on the Italian and international music scene - touched in 2007 by a tragic event: the murder of his sister Oletta by her husband Desmond Richard Blackmore.
The show, dedicated to all the people who fight every day against violence against women, will be introduced by Maria Andaloro, who 10 years ago created 'Posto occcupato', i.e. a seat left empty in a theatre or cinema for a woman who would have liked to be there but can no longer do so. In the Cristallo Theatre, one of the seats will be covered in red and removed from the ticket sales system.
