The concert will take place at Maria Heim in Bolzano.
The Duo Schweizer/Dalsass will perform, consisting of Luca Dalsass (violin) and Francesco Schweizer (piano).
The program features three important sonatas for violin and piano. Mozart’s two-movement sonata alternates between melancholy, dramatic accents, and an elegant lyricism that already anticipates Romantic tones. Beethoven’s “Spring” Sonata consists of four movements: a brilliant Allegro, an intimate Adagio in a dialog between the instruments, a lively Scherzo, and an energetic concluding Rondo. Dvořák’s Sonatina combines folk freshness, cantabile melodies, and moments of intense expressiveness, culminating in a powerful and tension-filled final Allegro.
