Piccolo Teatro Carambolage: Culture and Entertainment in the Heart of Bolzano



Since 1996, the Piccolo Teatro Carambolage has been a key point for Bolzano’s cultural scene. Located in a charming vaulted cellar at Via Argentieri 19, in the heart of the old town, the theater was founded by the “Kleinkunstszene” group, already known for successful productions such as Wilhelm Tell and Frank und Stein, as well as the Festival Cabarena.



The Carambolage stage hosts international cabaret artists, local performers, and carefully selected musicians. Each season, around 100 events are presented, including theater performances, concerts, cabaret, exhibitions, and literary evenings. Its welcoming atmosphere, excellent acoustics, and varied program attract a broad and curious audience, with approximately 8,000 visitors every year.
