Photo exhibition: “A look at Sardinia: the meeting of sea and wild lands”

The Sardinian Recreational Cultural Circle “Eleonora d'Arborea APS,” with the support of the City of Bolzano, has organized a Photographic Exhibition on Sardinia to take place at the Civic Gallery. Sardinia in the heart of the Mediterranean, a famous personage called life in Sardinia the best a man could wish for, comparing the island to Paradise on Earth. With its 24,000 sq. km. of territory, winding through coastlines, rocky plateaus and unspoiled nature, Sardinia has nothing to envy from other tropical destinations, so much so that it has earned the reputation as the Caribbean of Italy. Crystal-clear waters and picture-postcard landscapes are just some of the elements that have made it world famous and a popular destination for Italians and foreigners alike. Its millennial history, unparalleled anthropological and cultural heritage, and magnetic natural beauty-all these make Sardinia a unique destination. Cradle of the Nuragic civilization,it is one of the first emerged lands in the Mediterranean. Myths and legends here are intertwined with the most authentic culture and traditions handed down from generation to generation in the Sardinian people, who have preserved their genetic traits to this day. Bruno Meloni - president.
