Patroziniumsgottesdienst St. Laurentius
Every year in the St. Lawrence Church, the patronal feast is solemnly celebrated with a Holy Mass. Celebrant: pastor Hw. Walter Innerbichler, music: vocals with organ - Stefan Plattner and Simon Ebner St. Lawrence of Rome was a Roman deacon at the time of Pope Sixtus II and died as a martyr. Wherever you can find churches in South Tyrol that are dedicated to St. Lawrence, we can have the certainty of their old age. The showpiece of the church is the high altar of 1681, a good early Baroque work. The pediment depicts St. Lawrence in the splendid painting style of the Kessler workshop.
