The Ortler Bike Marathon makes its debut on the South Tyrolean gravel roads of the Upper Vinschgau in 2015. The long-distance race takes bikers to the dirt roads at the foot of the Ortler and to an area rich in history and natural beauty such as the medieval town of Glorenza, the Monte Maria Abbey, the Stelvio National Park or the lakes of Resia and San Valentino. The organizers propose four routes, with departure and arrival from Curon Venosta, which are suitable for every type of biker: the "marathon" is 111 km long and has an altitude difference of 3,905 meters, the "long", characterized by a distance of 69 km and 2400 meters of altitude difference, the "medium", with a length of 46 km and 1650 meters of altitude difference, the last possible route is the "short" that measures 29 km and 850 meters of altitude difference.
