Francesco Fiorenzani "Silent Water", Francesco Orio Trio, Michelangelo Scandroglio Group

Bassist Michelangelo Scandroglio was trained by old hand Ares Tavolazzi and is now one of the most promising young talents in Italian jazz.

Francesco Fiorenzani's quartet has in 2018, thanks to a young composers' grant, recorded its first album " Silent Water" featuring tunes by the bandleader. 
The ensemble, founded by Francesco Orio in 2015, picks up sound structures based on short fragments, sequences of intervals, melodic lines and rhythmic ideas in its collective improvisations and then freely develops them into a synthetic and harmonic whole.
