Nature in bloom - The Armentara meadows, a floral spectacle

"Ciüf" means flowers in Ladin and there are so many in the Armentara-meadows in June and July that it’s totally normal to break into spontaneous applause at the beauty. Stand at the foot of Sas dla Crusc and let them take your breath away. Itinerary: Badia (1324 m) – ascent by chair lift La Crusc 1 (for a fee) – La Crusc/S.Croce (2045 m) – Armentara-meadows – Valgiarëi – Badia Difficulty: easy/medium Meeting: 9.15 a.m. Badia Tourist Office Return: approx. 4.00 p.m. Altitude diff.: ↑ approx. 240 m ↓ approx. 750 m Distance: approx. 14 km Walking: approx. 3,5 hours Lunch: packed lunch or break in a mountain hut Domestic animals and strollers are not allowed.
