Organizer: Youth Hostel KassianeumSouth Tyrolean singer-songwriter Dominik Plangger and his wife, Viennese violinist Claudia Fenzl, are “On the road” again! The musical couple, who have already covered many miles together across Europe, return this time with their new album Limes in tow.
Dominik Plangger, who has shared the stage with artists such as Konstantin Wecker, Pippo Pollina and Allan Taylor, reached number one on the German Liederbestenliste for several months with his last album ansichtshalber, drawing attention as far as the United States (including from Nora Guthrie, daughter of Woody Guthrie).
Inspired both by the great Italian cantautori and by British and American singer-songwriters and folk legends, he has created a sound entirely his own, shaped by his unmistakably beautiful voice. Emotional and compelling songs in German, Italian and the Vinschgau dialect of his homeland, accompanied by Claudia Fenzl on violin and harmony vocals.
