Concert

Mozart wrote his six Viennese piano trios in the summer months of 1786 and 1788, probably intended for his circle of Viennese friends, where such works were particularly popular for chamber music. The trios are distinguished by their beautiful melodies, varied harmonic interweaving, and skillful combination of instruments. For many Mozart connoisseurs, some of the piano trios are among the most beautiful Mozart ever wrote. Among these are K 502 and K 542, which will be performed in the concert at the Hofburg in Bressanone, with Tobias Koch on fortepiano, Ulrike Engel on violin, and Kaspar Singer on cello.
