Mosses: Microscopy workshop at the Nature Museum
What do mosses look like under the microscope? And how do these plants live? Answers to these questions can be found in a workshop for adults and young people of secondary school age on 23 November at the Nature Museum.
Anyone who wants to try their hand at using a microscope, is fascinated by mosses and would like to find out more about this little-noticed, globally widespread group of plants can take part in the "Microscopy Workshop: Mosses" at the South Tyrol Museum of Nature in Bolzano.
Together with the botanist and curator of bryology at the Nature Museum, Petra Mair, participants will use a microscope and binoculars to explore the variety of forms of these plants and learn about their way of life and habitats.
The workshop is held in German.
