We live in an age that, unfortunately and increasingly, feeds on indifference. Yet there were, yesterday as today, in the face of evil, women and men who did not look away. This one person play tells the story of those people who, at the risk of their lives and driven by an exceptional sense of “pietas,” chose to place life above all other considerations. Ordinary, everyday individuals who became “heroes” of humanity.
