Marmot discovery hike

Marmot discovery hike with hiking guide Helga Tschager. We hike from the Karerpass | Passo Costalunga to the Rosengarten | Catinaccio, past ancient stone pine trees, an incomparably colourful alpine flora, rocky outcrops among which fossils such as ammonites and geodes can be found. To the left and right of the path, you hear the warning whistle of the marmots, which they emit when danger approaches. I like to tell the legend of the queen of the marmots there. With a view of the climbing wall of the Masarè and the fantastically beautiful view of the surrounding Dolomite mountains, we hike on to the Christomannos Monument.
