After more than two decades on the cabaret and small theatre stages, Luis del Sudtirolo, alias Manfred Zöschg, bids farewell to his audience with one last big tour. At the same time, he offers a unique opportunity to experience the popular South Tyrolean cabaret artist live once again. Particularly close to his heart is the story of the legendary “gold discovery”: a gold-plated lead ingot, secretly hidden in the garden, which sparked childish excitement, neighbourhood gossip – and, to this day, conversations in the village. Alongside amusing memories, the book also recounts particular challenges – such as his performance in New York, when Luis presented part of his programme in English – ‘without much pressure, but with a lot of heart’.
