Museion presents three events under the title Longing for Belonging. They explore the notion of belonging - whether in relation to a body, a memory, a place or a community - in a time of increasing uncertainty. In the form of performances, installations, films, stories and music, the project focuses particular attention on the notion of belonging, a human right that is often taken for granted.
Longing for Belonging asks what poetry is necessary to survive in a world where life without a home is becoming the norm. What meaning can space have if the idea of "belonging" is not examined first?
