Living traditions on the alpine pastures in Ratschings
On Sunday, August 24th, discover the fascinating world of traditional craftsmanship at the mountain huts in the Ratschings-Jaufen hiking area! From 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM, each hut will showcase a different traditional craft – from spinning and textile art to shoemaking and woodturning, all demonstrated with great passion.

- Alpine hut Rinneralm: Spinning & Ridnauner Böhmische
- Summit Mountain Club: Textile craftsmanship & Brixner Böhmische
- Alpine hut Wasserfalleralm: Shoemaker & Böhmische Klausen
- Alpine hut Kalcheralm: Woodturning & performance by the Wiesen folk dancers
In addition, each hut will provide a lively atmosphere with a music group. Enjoy the authentic South Tyrolean hut atmosphere, traditional music, and the skilled work of regional artisans. The modern cable car takes you up comfortably – a day full of culture, craftsmanship, and local flavor awaits!
