Libreria Cappelli Book presentation - “Una parola per non morire”
andra Bonzi will present her book “Un libro per non morire” (published by Garzanti) on Thursday, May 29 at 6:00 PM at Nuova Libreria Cappelli in Bolzano.
The event will be moderated by Stefania Gander.
No reservation required.
About the author:
Sandra Bonzi is a journalist with a background in communication across film and television (Mediaset, Sky, Disney Channel, AlbaChiara Produzioni). Today, she juggles between job attempts, two fantastic kids (and all that comes with them), and a (beloved) but overwhelming husband – Claudio Bisio. Together, they co-authored Doppio misto. Autobiografia di coppia non autorizzata (2008) for Feltrinelli. Her other titles for Garzanti include Nine and a Half Days (2022) and My Name is the Two of Spades (2023).
About the book:
A young girl has gone missing without a trace. Milan, shocked and grieving, stands silently by the devastated parents. Elena cannot resist the call of her inner detective and dives into a case that hits closer to home than she expected. Meanwhile, her family gives her no rest: her eighty-year-old parents, recently separated, are reliving their teenage years, her husband is obsessed with a bucolic lifestyle and exhausting bike rides, and her children are raiding the fridge while planning reckless futures. Maybe she should listen to her friend Claudia and escape, like they did in their youth, for a journey filled with pleasure and adventure.
But some cases strike a deep chord. Some stories can’t be left behind.
Elena Donati and her delightful crew return – this time setting up headquarters in a cozy bookstore-bistro opened by her father and his partner. But is it really the peaceful place it appears to be? Or are secrets and mysteries hiding among the bookshelves too? Literature is full of them – and, as Elena now knows, so is real life.
