LanaLive - Sound in Motion

The Lana community band dedicates itself during LanaLive to one of its central, yet often taken for granted, responsibilities: musically accompanying the course of the year. In doing so, the musical pieces are removed from their familiar context and reinterpreted. Their emotional qualities such as grief, joy, dignity, or exuberance are at the center. Accordingly, musical pieces are performed, picked up by dancers, and translated into moving images. This creates a multifaceted interplay of music and movement, offering a renewed experience of brass music as an emotional and artistic medium, and engaging the audience.
