Lake Stage Performance - Kool & the Gang

Also this year, the Kalterer Seespiele promise exceptional concerts on South Tyrol’s only lakeside stage: the absolute legends of funk and soul are coming to Kalterer See lake. What began in 1964 in Jersey City as a jazz formation led by Ronald “Khalis” Bell and Robert “Kool” Bell, alongside a group of friends, officially evolved into Kool & the Gang in 1969. Since then, the group has left an enduring mark on the global music scene, setting the world dancing for over half a century with their unmistakable blend of jazz, soul, and irresistibly tight funk. Freshly inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2024, these iconic artists bring with them a repertoire of monumental global hits: from Celebration and Jungle Boogie to Get Down On It, Fresh, and Ladies’ Night. Experience the most sampled R&B band in history up close, set against the picturesque backdrop of Kalterer See lake.
