Free guided tour “Adventure in the Mine” as well as the special tour “Copper Cement – Raw Material of the Future?” - Registration is required.

Under the theme “The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Communities”, International Museum Day 2025 focuses on the role of museums in a rapidly changing society. Museums around the world invite visitors to discover new perspectives and engage with current challenges.


Prettau – Copper with a Future
Free guided tour “Adventure in the Mine” as well as the special tour “Copper Cement – Raw Material of the Future?” with artist Paul Feichter (11 AM & 3 PM), who presents sustainable copper production in Prettau. Afterwards, there will be a creative outdoor workshop: small commemorative plaques made of copper sheet will be crafted.
