Archaeological excursion to St. Christina - Gardena/Gröden Valley

This journey into the past begins at the Gardena Pass around the Mesolithic rest areas Abri Plan de Frea, Tramans, and Gralba. The archaeological sites help visitors imagine what daily life was like for high mountain hunters from the Mesolithic period. During the excursion, participants can try out materials and prehistoric techniques themselves.

Guides: Nico Aldegani and Evelyn Egger, South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology
