In the heart of the Stone Age
Organizer: South Tyrol Museum of ArchaeologyThis journey into the past begins at the Gardena Pass around the Mesolithic rest areas Abri Plan de Frea, Tramans, and Gralba. The archaeological sites help visitors imagine what daily life was like for high mountain hunters from the Mesolithic period. During the excursion, participants can try out materials and prehistoric techniques themselves.

Requirements: surefootedness and fit enough for a tour of archaeological sites, sturdy shoes, mountain-appropriate clothing. Please bring your own food and beverages.
