Hunting club event and exhibition

The hunting exhibition is an event provided by the Hunting Law, which is held annually in all hunting districts. The heads and antlers of all roe deer, chamois, red deer and ibexes shot in the hunting district (Val Gardena is assigned to the Brixen district) are exhibited. A commission of experts examines these trophies in advance and determines the age class of the hunted animals. These data feed into the shooting plan for the following year. They provide information on the state of the game population in the hunting area.
