Training for teachers at all school levels

Simple, seasonally used shelters, two-story buildings from 3,000 years ago, and even dignified Roman villas are just some of the documented housing situations in South Tyrol. On the one hand, climatic conditions, available raw materials, family structures, food supply, roving warring groups, economic advantages, and much more influence the choice of location for a building or settlement, and on the other hand the architecture itself.

We can reconstruct the local building culture using a series of architectural models in the museum and we can reconstruct everyday life in these buildings in different eras – as much as possible – using a series of finds.

Only in german language.
