Hiking Day with Renowned Mountaineer and Mountain Guide Hans Kammerlander
Mountain hike to Piz Lad (2,808 m), a border mountain at the tri-border region

Through the diverse and fascinating Vinschgau region, we will drive up to Lake Reschen and continue towards Rojen, a small mountain village on the border with Engadin. Just before Rojen (1,800 m), our hike will begin, following a forest road that leads to the Reschneralm. After the alpine pasture, we will ascend the partially steep trail to the summit of Piz Lad (2,808 m). The magnificent views of the surrounding mountains, including the Sesvenna Group, peaks of Engadin, Samnaun and Paznaun, as well as the majestic giants of the Ötztal Alps, will reward the efforts of the ascent. At the summit, we will enjoy our packed lunch before descending back to the Reschneralm, where we will take a break and have refreshments. Afterwards, we will hike back to the starting point, and the coach will take us back to Algund.
