Hike on the traces of Vaia

Bernd Pardeller, head of the Latemar forestry supervisory office, takes us on Vaia's trail. On a short hike from the Latemar forestry school to Lake Carezza, he explains the effects and consequences of the storm and discuses the current bark beetle situation. Afterwards we continue with our hiking guide Ferdinand Pardeller. The autumn hike leads from Lake Carezza through meadows and forests, where we will have our lunch break. After lunch, we head down to Welschnofen | Nova Levante to the starting point, the bus stop Welschnofen | Nova Levante centre (Despar).
