Herwig Turk - space for rivers
Organizer: Gallery LungomareHerwig Turk works at the intersection of art, science and technology. Since spring 2022, the artist has been exploring the river landscapes of Bolzano, documenting the movements of the water, the rivers’ sediments, adjacent areas and embankments as well as the flora and fauna of the three Bolzano rivers in close dialogue with scientists*. The exhibition "Space for Rivers" translates the artistic and scientific research into an expansive installation in the former hydroelectric power plant Rendlstain and describes the dynamic and multi-layered landscape of our rivers.
