Healing with the Sun – When the Sky Meets Medicine (IT)
Did you know that every particle of light touching your skin today has travelled 100,000 years through the heart of the Sun before reaching you?
And have you ever thought that modern medicine – with all its technology and labs – might actually be a distant echo of an ancient “solar medicine” born thousands of years ago in Greece?
Astronomy and healing: two fields more closely intertwined than we might think. Back then, people looked up at the sky not only to trace constellations, but to find answers to illness, pain, and the path to healing. And even today, much can still be discovered – if we’re willing to look up.
Together with Matteo (astronomer and science communicator) and Stefano (author, educator, and physiotherapist), we’ll take you on a fascinating journey: from ancient myths to cutting-edge science, from solar storms to somatic therapies. What if a massive solar flare could knock out the lights across the world? And what can the sky still teach us about healing?
