Guided Tour: Church of Saint Lorenz in Rencio

The Church of San Lorenzo is one of the oldest churches in the Bolzano basin, with evidence dating back to the 11th century; its current appearance is 19th century, but the lower part of the bell tower and the apse below, with frescoes from the mid-14th century, still remain from the Romanesque period. The characteristic well, the 'Ziggl', and the rectory that was once St. Paul's Church can also be found on the square in front.
