Guided ski mountaineering tour Schalders

Ski tour to the summit of Gaishorn in the deserted Schalders Valley above Brixen. The shuttle service takes you to the starting point in Schalders to the Steinwend parking lot at 1,450 meters. Mountain guide Max will lead you and the group on skis through a dense spruce and stone pine forest to the Hochalm, where the valley gets wider. Along moraine slopes it goes to below the Lorenzischarte. On this plateau the view opens up to the surrounding mountains, Lorenzispitze, Plankenhorn and the destination Gaishorn. Already a first moment of reward with these views! The final spurt is over a steep hillside up to the summit at 2,414 meters. After the summit rest, it's back to the valley on skis through great powder snow.
