Moderately difficult hike from Vernagt in Schnalstal valley to the "Finailhöfe"

The trail leads from Vernagt in the Schnalstal Valley over the dam and down through the forest to the Mastaunhof. We ascend through a beautiful valley to the mountain hut of the same name and stop for refreshments. We then hike back to the Mastaunhof and continue along a forest path past the rustic Raindlhöfe farms to the small hamlet of Karthaus, which was originally built by the Karthäuser family.
