Steep rock walls, a distinctive mountain pass, and the feeling of being right in the heart of the Rosengarten range. This tour combines a short but intense ascent with impressive views and a true alpine atmosphere.

Tour description:

After taking the cable car from Tiers to Frommer Alm and the panoramic König Laurin cable cars 1 and 2 up to the Kölner Hut, we begin our hike. Via the Hirzel Trail, we climb steeply but relatively briefly to the Vajolon Pass, where a short iron ladder helps us overcome the rocky section. From the pass, we descend to the Rotwand Hut for a break. We then follow the high-level trail to the Christomannos Monument before returning to the Kölner Hut along the Hirzel Trail. Finally, we take the lift facilities back down to St. Zyprian.
