Guided Hike: Lake Weissbrunn in the Ultental Valley

Hike in the Ulten Valley – From Lake Weissbrunn to Fiechtalm

The bus takes us to Weissbrunn (1,885 m) at the very end of the Ulten Valley. The trail begins with a gentle ascent along the Grünsee stream, leading through sparse larch forests and past large boulders into the valley. At the wooden bridge, we turn left and climb steadily through alpine pastures (with short stony and steep sections) until we reach the Obere Weissbrunnalm (2,210 m). After ascending a bit further, enjoying magnificent views of the surrounding peaks, we follow a footpath that rolls up and down to the Fiechtalm (2,034 m), where we can stop for refreshments. After a long lunch break, we hike back to Weissbrunn, where the bus will be waiting for our return journey.
