Guided Hike: Garda lake from Torbole to Tempesta

Scenic Panoramic Trail on the Eastern Slopes of Lake Garda: From Torbole via Nago to Tempesta

We reach Torbole, the starting point of our hike on the northern shores of Lake Garda, by coach. From Torbole, we hike northward through olive groves on a moderately steep path, passing a large glacial pothole before reaching the village of Nago. Leaving the last houses of Nago behind, we descend slightly through more olive groves until we reach an adventure park (refreshments available).

The route then continues along the excellently maintained "Sentiero delle Busatte" panoramic trail, which features well-secured iron staircases. The views over the entire northern part of Lake Garda and its surrounding mountains are breathtaking; in clear weather, you can even spot the cliffs of "Rocca di Manerba" to the south. The developed panoramic path ends at a forest road, where we descend toward Tempesta—accompanied by magnificent vistas—to meet our bus.
