Guided Bike Tour: Plose Circular Tour

The Plose circular tour, which emphasises the diversity of biking and at the same time offers a panoramic view that is difficult to surpass, makes bikers’ hearts skip a beat. It starts at the tourist information office in Bressanone/Brixen at 9.30 am or at the valley station of Plose gondola lift at 10.00 am. This takes us up as far as Valcroce/Kreuztal, where the real fun on 2 wheels begins. Via the Skihütte hut on a forest road to Schatzerhütte hut, past the Halslhütte hut, until we reach the tarmac road to Würzjoch. Riding along the foot of the Peitlerkofel mountain, the view is simply breath-taking. Short passages via trails and gravel paths lead to Maurerberghütte hut, where we stop to have lunch. If the group is still physically fit after lunch, we continue via the Lüsner Joch ridge to the idyllic Glittensee lake – a very popular photo scene – then further to Jakobsstöckl chapel or directly from the Lüsner Joch via Luson/Lüsen back to Bressanone.
