Guerra e pace a Roma antica | Lecture by Prof Gianenrico Manzoni
The history and literature of the ancient Roman world are full of descriptions of wars and struggles: we know the names of the men who waged and implemented wars and also the women who sometimes provoked them. But there are also accounts of peace, of those who tried to settle contrasts and disagreements: positive figures of those who extolled this value and tried to realise it.
