FuzzNoir

In 2004, saxophonist Wolfgang Schiftner, bassist Raphael Preuschl, drummer Michael Prowaznik and guitarist Peter Rom - all members of the "Wiener Jazzwerkstatt" - founded the jazz group FuzzNoir. The quartet's goal was and is to dissolve and redefine the musical boundaries between different genres. Thus, for example, they bring rock, jazz and avant-garde together. Surprising and unpredictable twists continually emerge in their music. On stage, the FuzzNoir reveal all their skills. The musical mastery of the individual protagonists makes the songs different every time. The music is performed with such playful and emotional intensity that it is virtually impossible for the audience to escape this unique sound experience.
