Multi-rhythmic, original, dynamic, energizing, varied chamber music - and to top it all off with surprising breaks: the HI5 quartet was only born in 2010, but immediately became one of the highlights of the young Innsbruck jazz scene. In the arrangements and compositions of the four musicians, rhythmic grooves alternate with meditative sounds and daring improvisations. Complex structures blend with clear melodies, minimalist music with jazz and rock, traditional elements with new sounds.
