Free visit to the St. Andreas Church in Antlas
The Church of St. Andrew in Antlas/Lengstein can be visited every Saturday from 1 April to 6 December 2026, between 10 and 11 a.m., as part of a free visit. Admission free, voluntary donations for the church are welcome. The Church of St. Andrew is famous for its Gothic frescoes that decorate the interior, dating back to the early 15th century. One of the notable depictions is that of Saint Christopher carrying Christ on his shoulders.
The church stands majestically above the Eisack Valley, almost directly above the Eisack Gorge. It is visible from afar and is built on a site that once hosted prehistoric places of worship or settlements, which were later transformed into a Christian sanctuary
