Vahid, an Azerbaijani car mechanic, was once imprisoned by the Iranian regime and repeatedly interrogated while blindfolded. One day, a man named Eghbal enters his workshop. The squeaking of his leg prosthesis makes Vahid believe he recognizes in him one of his former tormentors. What begins as a minor accident sets off a chain of escalating consequences.
