Paris, 2014. Céline is expecting her first child – but she is not pregnant. In a few months, her wife Nadia will give birth to a baby girl. To be officially recognized as a mother, Céline must adopt the child. She is one of the first women in France to take this path. As part of the bureaucratic process, 15 personal letters from relatives and friends are required to confirm that Céline loves the child and will be a “good” mother.
