Marco Montes is assistant coach of the professional basketball team CB Estudiantes. Arrogant and incapable of behaving properly, he is fired for arguing with the head coach during a match. Later, he drives while drunk and has an accident. Brought before the judge, he is sentenced to nine months of community service, which consists of coaching the team of disabled players ‘Los Amigos’.
