35 landscape paintings by artists from the Eccel Kreuzer Collection can be seen in the museum's new special exhibition from 17 February. Artists from the Euregio area became central figures in a new and, for their time of origin, innovative form of painting in the 20th century. Pure colours and abstract forms increasingly formed the basis of many depictions of local landscapes. In this way, they reveal a modern gaze that permeates the works, making them seem at once original and immediately interesting. Curated by Sara Alberti and Eleonora Klauser Soldà, staff members of the Museum Eccel Kreuzer, the exhibition "Grand Tour. A Journey into Landscape Painting", curated by Sara Alberti and Eleonora Klauser Soldà, takes visitors on an imaginary journey in which the landscape paintings in the Eccel Kreuzer Collection prove to be ideal places to linger. The exhibition can be seen from Friday, 17 February at 5:30 pm on the ground floor of the Museum Eccel Kreuzer, Silbergasse, 10 in Bolzano; the evening will be accompanied by music from the group "Nik Lee and the Marcos" and a drink; admission is free. The exhibition runs until 15 September, daily except Mondays from 10 am to 6 pm. Guided tours of the museum's entire art exhibition in German, Italian and English can also be pre-booked by calling 0471 301621 or on the website at the link https://www.eccel-kreuzer.it/en/plan-your-visit/guided-tours.
