every year, the festival will be opened with a very special cultural show. On Friday,
24.05. at 9:00 pm there will be a drive-in cinema at the
Dobbiaco indoor climbing centre. It will show the “Dirtbag – The legend of Fred
Beckey”, a documentary of the life of the American alpine climber Beckey.
Rebellious, sarcastic and inspirational, he lived the climbing lifestyle to his
death at the age of 94 as intense as hardly anyone else. The organising
committee (the Alta Pusteria climbing club “Gamatzn”) ensures the perfect
atmosphere with hotdogs, popcorn and drinks.
